Govt urged to accept demands of Fata teachers

Peshawar :25 April: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Fata chapter on Sunday urged the federal government to solve the problems facing the teachers from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata). Speaking at a press conference here, JI Fata Ameer and former MNA Sahibzada Haroon-ur-Rasheed said teachers from Fata were demanding solutions to their problems. He urged the government to stop using delaying tactics and accept the demands of the teachers from Fata. Flanked by JI Fata deputy head Shah Faisal, general secretary Dr Munsif Khan, Dr Samiullah Jan and Muhammad Rafiq Afridi, Haroon-ur- Rasheed said the JI was fully supporting the teachers as the party believed that their demands were genuine. He asked the federal government to upgrade the services of the Fata teachers as had already been done by the KP government.
