ISLAMABAD:05 February: A two-day reception for newly enrolled students of the spring semester concluded at National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Saturday.
The two-day orientation session was held to brief the new students and their parents about the education programmes, scheme of study, evaluation and exam system, important features of the campus, facilities available in each department, faculty details, curricular and co-curricular activities.
The basic objective behind the orientation was to explain to the parents and students what was actually being offered in a particular programme and how students can perform their best with the help of coordinated efforts of teachers and parents.
On the first day, Faculty of Engineering and IT and Faculty of Management Sciences held orientation sessions for the newly enrolled students and their parents while on the second day, sessions were held by Faculty of English Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Languages. Heads of international relations, economics, mass communication, education, Pakistan studies, Islamic studies, oriental and occidental languages departments also briefed the students and parents.Daily Times.
