Psychology moot begins at IIU

Islamabad:February 11: The opening ceremony of the two-day 13th National Psychology Conference was held at the International Islamic University (IIU) here on Friday. The conference was organised by the Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA) in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, IIU. Riaz Fatyana, chairman of the organising committee, presided over the ceremony while Senate Chairman Farooq H. Naik was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr. Nabi Bakhsh Jumani, dean of the IIU Faculty of Social Sciences of the IIU, faculty members, officials and a large number of students were present on the occasion. Farooq H Naik lauded the efforts of researchers who presented their articles in the conference. Riaz Fatyana said that the purpose of holding the conference was to encourage researchers and they would also organise such kind of conferences at international level. Dr. Nabi Bakhsh Jumani said that psychology covers the entire life of human beings and through advance research in this area many problems can be resolved in an amicable way.The news.
