Peshawar School paying rich tribute to martyr of armed forces

PESHAWAR:March 02: Students from different schools of Peshawar while paying rich tribute to martyr of armed forces who embraced Shahadat during war on terror in tribal areas on Thursday conveyed a strong message to anti-state elements that the armed forces have full support of the people of Pakistan against terrorists and militants. The students were of the view that personnel of armed forces sacrificed their lives for the country and its people. Their sacrifices would not go in vein rather these would be remembered forever. The students from Peshawar Model School, Hayatabad Model School, Garrison Army Public School, Beacon House and City School visited Shuhada monument here, laid floral wreath and offered Fateha for the martyrdoms. They also visited the injured in war on terror at CMH and inquired after their health, presented them flowers and prayed for their early recovery. They expressed solidarity with the families of injured personnel of armed forces. Earlier, Brigadier Nadeem Akram Malik welcomed the students at Shuhada monument and said that more than 3000 armed forces personnel embraced martyrdoms and 10,000 were injured in war on terror in tribal areas from 2009-2012. He said that some of the injured have become permanently disabled despite that the soldiers are determined to wipe out terrorists from the country. He remarked that a handful of terrorists were misleading the people in the name of religion and killing innocent people and children to destabilize the country.APP.
