Mardan girls beat boys in BA, BSc exams Sara tops in Science,

PESHAWAR : Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan on Monday announced the results of BA/ B.Sc annual examinations 2010-11, showing a pass percentage of 37.Ms. Sara Khatoon of Govt. Post Graduate College for Women Mardan has topped the examination in Science group by securing 474 marks, whereas the second position was shared by Asadullah of Govt Degree College Khairabad and Nida Nasir of Fazaia College Risalpur with 473 marks, while Shah Qasim Jan of Govt. Post Graduate College Swabi stood third with 471 marks. Abdul-wali-khan-university-Result-2011 Similarly in Arts group Ayesha Ejaz of Govt. Post Graduate College for Women Mardan, Huma Liaqat of Govt. Graduate College Karnal Sher Khan Kalay Swabi secured first and second position respectively. Muneeba Ikram, Zakirullah and Ebadur Rehman secured third position in Arts group.A total of 18997 students appeared in the exam of whom 7038 were declared successful. Vice chancellor AWK University congratulated the successful candidates expressing the confidence that they would earn more laurels for the country. The VC appreciated the efforts of Controller Examination for conducting the examination in free and transparent manner.APP.
