Edwardes Collegeco-organizes Dastaan-e-Ishq

PESHAWAR:25 Dec: Edwardes College in partnership with School of Leadership (SoL), Karachi organized Dastaan-e-Ishq-Tales of Passion- a capacity development initiative with an aim of imparting lessons of leadership, dedication, resilience, and innovation. Tourism Corporation Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (TCKP) sponsored the event which was arranged in New Canterbury Hall at Edwardes College. Umair Jaliawala, youth trainer, SoL, spoke to a exhilarating crowd of over 1200 attendees about self-awareness and self-empowerment. Dastaan-e-Ishq was followed by a cultural performance of Khumariyaan, a local band, which entertained the audience with their amalgamation of eastern and western music.It was an evening of inspiring stories of people who spread goodness and challenged the status-quo; lessons from the lives of business leaders, philanthropists, poets, artists and of individuals who contributed immensely to humanity.F.P.report.
