Chinese diplomats visit IPRI

Islamabad:February 25: Two senior Chinese diplomats who have served as ambassadors to Pakistan, visited the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) on Friday to discuss the regional issues in the context of current developments, says a press release. Both the former ambassadors spoke about the deep friendly ties between the two countries and how China holds Pakistan as a soul mate. Ambassador Zhou Gang talking about Pak-China economic cooperation said that Gawadar Port and the KKH were once a dream but now they were a reality. Similarly the Pak-China Pipeline would also one day become a reality. Ambassador Lu Shulin said that there was a great scope for cooperation in sectors like energy, agriculture, infrastructure and science and technology.
